Who Should Attend?

You may be a HR specialist or a line manager with recruitment and selection responsibilities. Either way you have a need to ensure that you select the ‘right people’ for your business requirements.

What are the practical benefits that I will gain from attending this workshop?

Your role is to ‘future proof’ your organisation. To ensure that, as far as possible, you recruit staff with the right knowledge, skills and attitudes to hit the ground running. Good quality staff will enable you to delegate sooner, reduce costs, manage performance and achieve a record of delivering success.

You will need knowledge and understanding of:

the use and benefits of competencies – where to recruit from – a professional process – the costs of getting it wrong – the key documents – shortlisting – designing the selection process – “What are we looking for….?” – “How will we recognise it when we see it …?” – preparing the right questions to ask – preparing the scene, preparing yourself – the key skills – recording and judging evidence – recognising your strengths and areas for development.

Duration:    One or two days as required.
